With some sea and hill views, our family's comfortable holiday home has many original features and is conveniently situated just a few minutes walk down to the sandy beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. You can take a boat trip for fishing or sightseeing, walk the coast path, play golf or tennis, go horse riding, board the steam train to Corfe Castle, stroll along the restored Victorian pier or just build sandcastles. For the more adventurous there is a diving school on the pier and sea fishing day trips can be organised at Swanage Angling which also supplies lines, buckets and bait for the enthusiastic crabbers along the Stone Quay. A short drive away are Putlake Adventure Farm, Farmer Palmers, Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum for fun days out.
Pen-y-fan's accommodation is over three floors. The living/dining room has TV with Freeview, DVD/VCR player with videos and there are family board games. The newly fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and overhead airer. On the first floor there is a large double bedroom with a superking sized bed and a room with bunks. On the top floor there is a twin bedded room and a single bedroom. There is a cloakroom in the hall, the bathroom has a bath with shower, wc and wash basin and there is a small shower in the bunk room. At the back, we have a small west facing courtyard with tables and seating, barbeque and washing line. The back gate gives access to a small path behind the houses. We have unrestricted parking along our one way street.
All beds have duvets and pillows. We can supply bed linen and towels. People with limited mobility may have difficulty with the steep stairs and the hill. Sorry, no smokers.
