The Finalists have been announced for this year’s Dorset Tourism Awards which will be presented in at Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth on 6 February 2025.
We are absolutely delighted to share that Swanage Carnival has been selected as a Finalist for the Dorset Tourism Awards in the Tourism Event/Festival of the year category for the second year running!
59 finalists have been announced for this year’s Dorset Tourism Awards following five months of judging. All will be in suspense until the Awards Ceremony at Marsham Court Hotel, when they will learn whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze awards. A further two special awards will also be announced and ten will be rewarded with Commended status.
Winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at Marsham Court on 6 February 2025, with gold winners in some categories nominated to represent Dorset in the 20254 national VisitEngland Awards.
Awards organiser Robin Barker of Services for Tourism commented: “Celebrating excellence is so important – to the winners themselves, to the staff who work there, and to everyone in industry looking to the future. It is also important for Dorset in showcasing the county on the national and international stage. Congratulations to everyone involved.”
Award categories cover everything from dog friendly, new tourism business, and accessible and inclusive tourism to restaurants, glamping, hotels and pubs. A Winner of Winners title, an Unsung Hero award and a special Outstanding Contribution award will also be presented on the night.
