Back by popular demand, the mighty Carnival Fire Engine Pull returns! Teams of 10 will battle it out to pull a 12-tonne fire engine over a fixed distance along Swanage seafront. Who will be crowned the fastest team?
This thrilling challenge is open to teams of 10, so gather your friends, colleagues or club members and show off your strength. A reasonable level of fitness is required, and anyone with a serious health condition should consult their doctor before taking part. Please ensure you wear trainers for the event.
Entry fee: £25 per team
We will also welcome children to take part in the engine pull – races will be announced on the day. Come along to cheer the teams on — or join in yourself!
