Dani was carnival queen in 2002 and then joined as a committee member shortly after.
Dani, her husband Dan and daughter Darcy had a car accident in 2018.
Dani suffered a spinal injury and our carnival baby Darcy, aged 4, tragically did not survive.
Dani will be hosting a discussion and Q&A regarding her memoir in the Marquee.
The book details Dani’s life pre accident, then her rehabilitation and her journey through grief and rebuilding her life.
