We travel back to 1957 when one of Britain’s treasures, Enid Blyton, an English children’s writer was president of our very own Swanage Carnival.
Her books have been worldwide bestsellers since the 1930s, selling more than 600 million copies. Her books are still enormously popular. We just hope that our programmes might have the same success… one day.
